Sittin

Today was windy, so windy, and refreshing. And then it rained. I wonder how many umbrellas were forgotten?

Although its only the second week of the semester, my school mornings usually go by routine; shower, get dressed, eat, speed walk to the subway, south, walnut, city hall, race/vine, spring garden, fairmount, GIRARD, cecil b (school). The girard stop has to be the dirtiest most disease ridden looking stop of them all. Atleast once a day this thought goes through my head. Granted the underground world of city transportation isn't the most pleasant place. I don't know what it is, the poor lighting? The abundance of orange paint on the ceiling supports? Maybe it just is the filthiest place on earth. Maybe it's something in the air? Regardless, I end up looking away before I shudder and feel a tad bit sorry for those who exit and board the train. Not sorry, just lucky it's not my stop, I guess.

Anyways,
Good things that have happened lately:

-FINALLY...after nearly a year of not having one, got a new digital. D60, not bad, I'd say. Shot for the first time with it a few days ago. Although I'm already familiar with the works it was like breaking through a thresh hold. Sidenote: Even though every one knows this is super un-true, photographing a pretty girl makes things easy, it's almost like they've done the dirty work and, to an extent, you don't need to make the picture complimenting. I realized this shortly after receiving comments from my classmates that went something like...
"Me: top left corner's a bit over exposed because of the overcast.
B: No ones looking at that anyway!"
Ha, me n' B. Anyway, taking my first digital course. (Awwh)

-Second, speaking of pikchers, learning how to use the view camera. Super pumped.

-new place

-new roommate

-new mouse in the kitchen?

Ummmm.

Between two jobs and two majors, I surprise myself with just sitting here. I feel guilty? I'm going to drink beer with my beloved roommates and listen to radiojams.

Goodbye thursday.
